In 1999 Gibraltar Equity Investments acquired a 20 acre parcel of land located in the City of Aurora, with plans to re-zone and plat it into a medium density town home residential subdivision. During the platting process, Gibraltar and the city of Aurora agreed to create a community park for current residents in the area. Although this was definitely not the "Highest Value", Gibraltar determined it to be the "Best Value" for a contribution back to the community.
